Introduction:

Please do not resize the Bag, as it is then not possible to assemble it later. It fits a Prusa MK3S. For assembly cut pieces of filament (1.75mm) is used to hinge the printed parts together.

Assembly should not take longer than 10-15 min to complete and a guide can be found down below. In there is also a list with every part and how often you need to print it. Some information about the print orientation and the needed quantity is found in the description of the stl files. After printing no extra parts are required for assembly except about 0,5m of 1,75mm filament.

This Bag was fully printed in Prusament jet black PLA and Prusament Prusa orange PETG. I did have a layer shift during printing and sadly it shows on the fotos.

What does this handbag fit? I think it will be nice for collection all the treats at Halloween.

I have used some Ikea fairy lights (VISSVASS) for lighting up the bag.

If you have any questions, please ask, I am glad to help :)

Print Settings:

Sadly this print requires Support, I have used brush on supports. This is needed for the teeth and the connectors at the side, as I have learned that this orientation is the strongest.

Printed with PLA and PETG in 0.3mm layer-height and 10% infill. I have used Prusament Prusa Orange PETG and Prusament Jet Black PLA.

Do Not resize this Print, as assembly will later bei Impossible. It requires at least a prusa MK3S sized Print bed. Sadly this pumkin friend does Not fit in the Prusa Mini…

Assembly:

For assembly the following will be needed:

  • About 0.5 meters of PLA 1,75mm filament
  • Pliers to cut the Filament
  • Ruler
  • Pin or needle (To undo if you made a mistake)
  • Exacto-knife (please be very careful, I is not my fault if anything does go wrong, do this at your own risk)

First remove the Support material and screw the Stem into the top.

Then cut 4 pieces of Filament to 2.5 cm. Push the strap connectors onto the Pumpkin. Then insert from the top the filament and push it in with a Pin.

(this long strand of filament is just for demonstration purposes)

If you need to undo a connection, insert a pin from the small hole at the underside of the connection. This pushes the filament out a bit and you can grab it with your pliers. This is the method for undoing all the filament connections.

Insert now the lights into the pumpkin, then insert the bucket insert.

The Body strap is a repetition of the following steps: First cut filament to 1,8 cm and then insert it into the link, to connect the pieces. Make sure that all pieces are correctly orientated. This means that there is on one side a small and on one side a big hole, when you push the filament in.

The length of the strap is on you. Connect as many pieces as you like. Every link piece adds roughly 2,5 cm or 1 inch. Then connect the strap with filament to the Pumpkin

Congratulation, you just have finished your new handbag!
