Designed this for coworkers that needed more racks while doing PCRs. This has 12 columns and multiple of these can be slotted in to each other if you want to keep a set of racks together.
Keep in mind, slotting these together can be tight, and really requires a precise print. I went through a few iterations but did not have enough time to really nail down the sizing here to give leeway for my less precise prints of it.
Official sizing for the holes is for 0.2 mL and 2 mL tubes supported, but I'm sure other similar volumes will fit in there.
The holes have a flat bottom so self-standing tubes also fit.
Because it can be tricky to print, I included a step file so you can adjust any dimensions easily. Or use this as a base to design something that fits your needs better.
I printed mine at 0.2 mm height, 3 walls, and 10% infill. Black PLA+ from eSun. I added extra top and bottom layers to make sure it was nice and sealed up.
