Needed to mount Gaciron W10-BS smart tail light on flat surface so I came up with this neat holder that still allows all functionality and water resistance of the light!
It's removable for charging and ambient light sensor is still uncovered.
You will need to remove tube mounting bracket from one of the caps that are shipped with the light! Also you need M4x8 screw to attach the rear cap inside the mount.
I recommend using little drop of blue Loctite so the screw won't back out from the cap.
Installation:
Screw the rear cap on the light and make sure the rear screw hole is clean. Then let the light slide inside the holder all the way. (This should be easy! It's not press fit.) Now turn the light in the bracket until it's ambient light sensor window is lined up with the cutout on the top of the mount and hold the light in this position with light pressure of fingers, DO NOT use tools! It will break the light. When aligned you can screw in the M4x8 screw from the other side of the mount, it should clamp on the mount so it won't turn inside the plastic.
Recharging the light:
Simply turn the light until it slides out from the mount leaving the rear cap attached to the mount. Don't touch the screw.
To reinstall I noticed the cap is few thread starts and you will need to remember or mark proper angle that would allow the light to have it's light sensor uncovered.
