Introductions:
This is my first try at adding moderate complicated patterns to my handbags.
As printables does not support youtube shorts yet, here is the link to a little showcase of the handbg: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/y6BkuDdaREg
I have Printed it in Extrudr NX2 white and Extrudr NX2 steel blue PLA. The handbag is printed and assembled in layers, this makes the color changes possible without a MMU.
You can easily change out parts even after assembly to repair or change up the look.
If you already have printed my Trapeze Handbag, just the piece A to be replaced and of course piece Q vault inlay. For assembly Just step five is needed.
Here is the link if you want to customize even more. In this collection are also all my other Handbags:
https://www.printables.com/social/29398-magda-j/collections/254916
Please do not resize the Handbag, as it is then not possible to assemble it later. For assembly cut pieces of filament is used to hinge the printed parts together.
Assembly should not take longer than 15-20 min to complete and a guide can be found down below. In there is also a list with every part and how often you need to print it. Some information about the print orientation and the needed quantity is found in the description of the stl files.
What does this handbag fit? It fits my rather large phone (17x8cm), my wallet and my keys without any issues. There is still some space left for other small goods. The handbag measures: 18x 20x 12cm without strap or handles.
If you have any questions, please ask, I am glad to help :)
Assembly:
Note: I did not re-write the complete assembly because I do not think it is not necessarily. this is why some parts may look different than yours. Do however not worry, assembly will be clear and easy :)
Print the following:
| Part | Amount | Color A (white) | Color B (blue steel) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A inlay base female | 1 | x | |
| B base male | 1 | x | |
| C side with Strap attachmend L | 1 | x | |
| D side with Strap attachmend R | 1 | x | |
| E side L | 1 | x | |
| F side R | 1 | x | |
| G peg | 40 | x | |
| H feet | 4 | x | |
| I end cap | 2 | x | |
| J connector for closure | 1 | x | |
| K connector for strap | 2 | x | |
| L closure | 1 | x | |
| M handle attachment | 4 | x | |
| N handle | 2 | x | |
| O link | 30+ | x | |
| P square | 4 | x | |
| Q vault inlay | 1 | x |
All parts are printed in PLA with 0.3mm layer height and 10 percent infill. Support is not necessary. Use the chart above to ensure everything comes out the correct way and amount. It also helps you if you want to print the bag in the same color way as I did.
All parts should be clear how to orient them on the printbed. Feel free to ask if you are not quiet sure.

Photo is mid-print of pieces A and B.
Tools required:
For assembly the following will be needed:
- About 1 meters of PLA 1,75mm filament
- Pliers to cut the Filament
- Ruler
- Pin or needle (To undo if you made a mistake)
- Exacto-knife (please be very careful, I is not my fault if anything does go wrong, do this at your own risk)
Step one:
Take the four H feet and push them into the four holes at the bottom of A base female and B base male. It should fit snugly. If they do not fit at all, use a exato-knife and cafully cut away at the peg to make them fit.

Step two:
This step requires parts A to G. The G pegs are for inserting in the holes of parts A to F, they secure them in place. Parts C to F have a side with small slits. This is the inside. Part C and D are for the Part B base male. Part E and F are for Part A base female.
Insert the parts accordingly and push the pegs into the holes. The pegs should only be pushed in with your fingers! If you made a mistake, just grab a pin, insert it into a slit and push the peg up and out. Then you should be able to pull them out with pliers.
Then slide piece B male into A female.
The bag should now look like this:

(The yellow peg is just for demonstration purposes)
Step three:
Insert I end cap into the side of piece B male. The bag should now stay together. Insert K connector strap into the pieces C and D from the bag inside.

Step four:
Insert J connector for closure from the inside to the piece B base male. Close the Bag and place L closure. Cut a piece of Filament to 2,0 cm. Insert it from the side in the bigger hole as shown in the picture. The other side has a small hole were a pin can be inserted to undo the connection, by pushing the filament out. This undo applies to nearly all connections!

Step five:
This is the only step that differentiates from the Standard Bag. First Press piece Q vault Inlay onto piece A.
Slot M handle attachment through the holes at piece A and B. The Hexagon must be on the outside. Then push part P square onto part M from the inside of the bag. Part P does look quite different here, but v2 works the same as v1 used for the pictures.
Cut a piece of filament to 2,0 cm and slide it through the hole to secure everything in place:

If the vault Inlay is quite loose then use some Drops of superglue to secure it down.
Step six:
Attach Part N handle to M handle attachment. For this cut filament to 2,3 cm and slide it in.
Step seven:
The Body strap is a repetition of the following steps: First cut filament to 1,8 cm and then insert it in O link, to connect the pieces. Make sure that all pieces are correctly orientated. This means that there is on one side a small and on one side a big hole, when you push the filament in.

The length of the strap is on you. Connect as many pieces as you like. Every link piece adds roughly 2,5 cm or 1 inch.
Step eight:
Cut Filament to 2,3 cm and attach the body strap to Piece K connector strap.

Step nine:
Cut again Filament to 2,3 cm and attach the N handles to M handle attachment:

Congratulation, you just have finished your new handbag!
