Needed an insert for the cardboard spools I use and with the inside tolerance making a round insert hard to use I decided to go with a hex that reduced the points of contact but still “bit” the carboard.
Printed in PETG since I have my printer in an enclosure.
Included the .stp file if you need to adjust it to fit better for your needs.
