Remix of KC Ortiz's model. I've changed the handle part and the pieces used to hold the sword together to fit my needs.

Modified from KC's model to make the piece more reliable and robust. Originally the pieces were held together with tiny cylinders and glue, which was a bit too frail for my liking, so I redesigned the system so it now uses long rectangular pieces to hold it together. Even when not using glue it is now significantly stronger and more rigid than the original.
I also modified the handle so that now it prints in only 2 pieces instead of 4.
For gluing together I recommend doing it quickly and with no hessitation. You may encounter some troubles if you don't fully insert the connecting pieces in their slots before the glue dries and cures. This is mainly because of the length of some pieces and the tight fit. My method for gluing was basically inserting each piece a 75% of the lenth and putting glue on the remaining part, then quickly sliding the rest of the piece and hold together till it dries.
You will need to print one of each part (except for the “HandleStub” piece, you will need 4 of those).
My settings used were the following:
- .3 mm layer height
- 3 perimeters
- 0% infill on all the parts inside the Connecting Pieces folder
- 10% infill on the rest, though I believe you could get away with using less percentage
- No supports (except on the Handle pieces, do auto generated supports on build plate only for them)
