Easily printable pop-up handle for dawers or doors. Mechanical aretation keeps the handle exposed or hiden. Mountable into 17mm thick desk or more. Required depth for mounting is 35 mm.
Pin can be printed or not - as any cylinder of 8 mm diameter shall work (wooden dowel). The pin is held in place by the openning in the desk. The opening enges are covered by lip of the handle shell - thus woodworking doesn't need to be that crisp.. :)
Handle “snapping” core is separated from handle cover for easy printing - needs to be glued on the right spor - preferbly in full assebly to get the position right (yeah, some locating features might be nice.. :). Take care to print with easilly gluable plastics (PLA, ABS/ASA, HIPS).
Included is Fusion and .STP model. Fusion model is parametrically governed by 2 sketches in the main assy - adjust the handle for your needs.
