RMU-Mk3 Closed Sides Mod

This adds closed walls and base to the original RMU-Mk3 model. This makes it possible to protect the filament a little bit better from humidity changes. Note that the photo shows this mounted using the Dual RMU-Mk3 Connector and Bracket mod.

Print Instructions

To print you need the original RMU-Mk3 models. In PrusaSlicer (other slicers might work, but instructions may vary) add the original and the mod STL at the same time (select multiple files in file open dialog, e.g., pressing Ctrl while selecting). When asked whether to combine both files into one object select “yes”. Do this separately for the lower and the upper part (not all four files in one go). Place the lower body on the open side (the RMU-Mk3 is optimized to be printed in this orientation). The upper part is already placed properly (the mod works for both RMU-Mk3 versions, Mod-T and Mod-S).
