As suggested by several makers of Filarte3D's model, the closing force of the arm can be increased by moving the arm outside of the model - essentially bending the arm outward.
This is exactly what I did - resulting in this model. After printing, the maker would just need to bend it inwards and upward/downward gently to move the arm to the closing position.
Hopefully this helps users who want a stronger closing force on this beautiful model.
[Update] I've added a new model and gcode file (sliced using PrusaSlicer for Made For Prusa PETG) for even stronger closing force. Use the CarabinerExtraPretension files if you like the arm to close tighter.
