I really like the Kazoo by PistonPin, and I printed it for my 2 yo daughter, so she can "play" something. That worked out really well, besides two issues:
- As my daughter discovered that the lock nut could be turned, she started to unscrew it, and as the result, the kazoo was not working.
- She was inserting her finger into the hole and ruining the membrane.
This design has a shorter thread length, so you can tighten it thoroughly to prevent unscrewing. Also, there is a gate on the top of the nut to prevent the insertion of foreign objects into the hole.
