How I Designed This
I created a simple geometric 'U' shape in TinkerCAD. Then I simply test printed the object and tweaked the thickness little by little by either increasing or decreasing thickness to get a nice snug fit.
Once I found the best fit, I simplified the installation process by adding two blocks to the back end of the shape. This keeps the object in place when attempting to slide the plug/light into the shade slot.
Feel free to open up the STL in any CAD software and edit to get your desired thickness!
