Simple tool for finding the center of a board, dowel or other objects up to 100mm across.
This is a pretty common tool in most wood workers bag of tricks, but if you have never used one, all you do it put it across your surface, trace the angle, most it to a different position and trace the angle again. Where the two lines intersect is the center of your object.
There are also ticks at 1mm intervals across the angle if you need to find a perimeter. You'll have to figure out the math on this one yourself. ;)
While this is only 100mm, it can be scaled easy enough by stretching it out in the Y and X in equal amounts.
