Painting holder for bits and small parts.
3 parts :
- a 32mm base to use with mini painting handle of your choice
- a disposable bit holder, to plug into the base
- a plate to store up to 20 bit holders during painting sessions
Tolerances are tight to keep base and holder together when painting.
On my printer they fit well, just enough to assemble but not too difficult to unplug.
Tolerance for the plate is the same, so the plate should be moved (and even flipped) safely for bits in case you want to use the plate for batch painting/priming (test it without bits before, it may vary with each printer ;) ). If you prefer larger tolerance you can drill the holes on the plate with a 5 mm bit, but then holders will probably fall down if you flip the plate.
Printing instructions :
No support needed
Brim is sufficient for plate (to avoid warping) and base (better adhesion)
Raft is recommended for bit holder (only a 5mm diameter contact surface on the bed plate, brim may not be sufficient, depending on your settings)
