Here is a housing of sorts for an Acetech Brighter-C airsoft tracer unit. The goal when designing was to allow the tracer to be used on a blaster that had an inner barrel that stuck out past the 14mm CCW threads without impacting the function of the unit.  If you put this particular tracer on a barrel that protrudes the threads by more than roughly 10mm the unit will begin it's power off/sleep process. The housing will allow for an inner barrel to protrude by roughly 60mm past the threads without shutting off the tracer. If requested I can make additional versions that allow for longer or shorter inner barrels, but this size did the job for the blaster I had and should cover a lot of barrels.

For best results print in ABS/ASA with a layer height of 0.2mm or lower so that the threads work cleanly. No support is needed as long as you have decent cooling, though keep in mind that this was modeled with ABS/ASA in mind and tolerances may vary if printed with other materials.

To install screw the housing counter-clockwise onto barrel threads making VERY sure not to cross thread as if you strip out the first thread this will be very hard to get fitted. Once the housing is installed on the barrel, it is recommended that you remove the front cover of the Brighter-C and then thread it back on only until you start to encounter resistance, then screw the tracer onto the housing. I found that by doing this I can screw the tracer into the housing until the face of the unit WITHOUT the front cover is roughly flush with the housing. If you added the cover loosely as described above, the front cover should begin loosening allowing you to gain access to the charging port, while no longer spinning the actual tracer itself. Once done charging, thread the cover on only until you encounter resistance, and you are all set! The nice thing about this is that when you want to remove the tracer from the housing all you need to do is tighten the cover completely and then continue turning clockwise, which will begin to disengage the tracer threads from the housing.

Let me know what you think and show me your builds if you decide to add this to it!
