This is an inverted style dock for a Valve Steamdeck to quickly plug and unplug one handed. The inverted design eliminates the problem of plugging the USB-C cord into the top of the Steamdeck and makes it similar to a Nintendo Switch Dock.

Since the Steamdeck switches off the internal display when plugged into HDMI, it does not matter that the device is upside-down.

It is based on Strider460's original design but modified with a slot to trigger the power switch when docked and a longer area for HDMI plug so the cable can be disconnected without removing the hub. There is also a small grip point on the front to enable easier undocking. The power switch mechanism still needs work, so any alternate mechanical or print in place suggestions are appreciated.

The power switch is a lever action and it needs the small rectangle to be glued on after it is inserted. I believe that a print in place design with a pivot rod might work better.

As Strider460's design this is sized exactly for this "Hiearcool" brand USB-C Hub from Amazon. It drives the external display at 4k@30 and does not have an ethernet port, but it is a decent value and all the ports are on 3 sides making the cable management possible.

The tolerances in my print were tight so it was a slip fit for the cables and hub, but you can there is a slot for ziptie to hold the USB-C wire tight and a notch for a  #6 x 0.5" (M3.5 x 12mm) pan head self tapping screw.

The original design used an acrylic light pipe, to show the charging indicator, but I sliced a rod of hot glue to shape and size with a razor knife and this seems to work decently well.

I printed this on an ender3 at a 45 degree angle. It was sliced in Cura with tree supports only where there was bed contact. Printing without supports caused serious overhang defects in the usb hub slot.
