My family likes to put out name cards for each person at the table at Christmas dinner so everyone know where they should sit. I wanted a fun and festive way to display the name cards and since this is for Christmas dinner, I thought the best was would be on a Christmas tree.
This model was developed in tandem with the hairpiece Christmas tree that I also published this year. Since this one is a bigger model, I made the different pieces separate so that they could be printed on any printer as multi-color and then assembled together into the final product. I printed 16 of these on my mini (for which I have also included the gcodes for, but i have modified my retraction settings to match my Bondtech extruder). However, i have also included versions for an MMU set up, as well as a print then paint (if you are better at painting than I).
Each tree needs 1 star topper and 27 ornaments if you print them separately.
Lightning infill is perfect for this model to save time and filament.
I would recommend printing at 0.2mm, but i printed the star topper at 0.1mm and i printed the tree at 0.25mm.
I used all Jessie filaments from PrintedSolid for this model.
