With this I started with the Christmas star created last year by Merandey, upsized it to 175%, and created a special base with a screw type setup within to keep the topper from falling off your tree.
Have fun with it by printing it in translucent clear PETG and adding individually addressable RGB lighting inside of it. The inside of the base allows for the fairy light connectors to travel through it. Add crystal clear glitter to give it extra sparkle.
Parts needed:
- Center x1
- Star_Point_Base x1
- Star_point_17 x17
- Star_point_8 x8
- Super glue or equivalent
Optional items:
- RGB lighting (I used WS2812B individually addressable fairy lights)
- Crystal clear glitter
- Elmer's Glue-All
No supports are needed. I used eSun Semi-Transparent PETG @ 0.2mm, 3 perimeters, and 20% gyroid infill (only affects the base).
