Based on the beautiful model “Personalized Christmas Bauble - Lithophane Template for Advent or Illumination” by chrise_2000 ( thank you for this).
When making one, I realized I wanted to have a glue aid to center the interface on the lower part of the snowball and deeper pockets for my led lights in order to get the lights more even distributed inside the ball and fix them.
The led-lights I've used have a diameter of
and can be operated them via a remote control, which is convient, when hanging the globe into a christmas tree.
The hole in the interface has a diameter of the biggest led light (37mm).
Depending on your printer you have to sand the outer parts of the glue aid to get a smooth light fit.
To fix the led lights inside the pocket you can use a double-sides glue-tape or some gluedots.
While glueing the interface onto the lower part be aware, that the glue can escape out of the interface onto the glue aid… i pinned first the section of the interface which have no glue aid surface nearby, extracted the glue aid and then put presure onto the whole interface.
