Just a simple little box that I drew up to hold my ear plugs when I ride my motorbike.
It is a hinged print-in-place design.
I tried printing it with a 0.4 nozzle, .20 layer height but it was too corse, the hinge just broke because it all stuck together. The hinge relies on 0.3mm clearance between barrel and pin to work.
0.25 nozzle, 0.10 Detail layer height works best.
The lid fits the base neatly and there is a small ‘pimple and dimple' to act as a catch. The lid is a little stiff to start with, just open and close it a few times and it frees up nicely and the ‘pimple and dimple’ hold the lid closed nicely once it has freed up.
