You simply have to read a book?
You don't like the book, neither does it like you?
So ... let's start to procrastinate by printing a simple bookmark that tells you what to do.

In case it is a really awesome analog .txt file (or you're a teacher/bookseller), these could be “recommendation tabs”.

How to print

The sturdy variants are 0.8mm thick in total and 0.2mm of that are for the last layer, containing the writing.

The thin variants are 0.4mm thick in total. Hence a 0.2mm layer height is recommended for them.

The writing has a stroke width of 0.85mm. The models visible in the pictures are printed with a 0.6mm nozzle and Arachne activated in PrusaSlicer.

In case your system won't print neatly after a filament change: A draft shield, wipe tower or any object to consume filament beforehand (establishing good flow by doing so) may help.

Material at one's discretion, I used PETG in two different colors.

What next

I missed an expression you dearly want or messed something up? Tell me and I will see what can be done.

Mentions

Before Gutenberg came along with his letterpress printing, books had to be replicated by hand and therefore were incredibly valuable - roughly the same as decent cars today. Speaking of today, now we have 3D printing and … Have you finished reading your book, by the way? No? It's because you're still reading this nonsense here. Download, like, print and read that book ;-)
