I will give a brief rundown of how this should be assembled:
- There are two parts, the main body and the taser cap. They are to be super glued together once all the electronics are done.
- The power source is a protected 18350 li-ion cell
- The charging method is a USB-C female chip
- The high voltage source is one of those cylindrical high voltage generator
- The safety switch is a mini rocker switch
- The active switch is an illuminated 12mm compact momenetary button from aliexpress
- The wiring is 24 AWG.
- The taser cap should have M2 screws driven down each plastic prong. Since you can't solder to steel, there should be a brass M2 insert nut screwed onto the end of each M2 screw, which you can solder the high voltage leads to.
- Before putting together, seal the junction between the high voltage leads and the screws with hot glue.
