MEET FiBo - The Filament Box!
FiBo - Filament Box:
Designed to carry filament spools with 20cm maximum diamenter. The base version is for 55mm spools. They fit well for my "Das Filament" spools and also for the smaller original Dremel spools.
Features:
- 6 ball bearings to hold the spools (4 in Base, 2 in Lid to prevent spool movement)
- a groove to insert a 1mm thick rubber thread/cord to seal the box
- PTFE coupler in the front for filament guidance
- a slot on the front face to insert a small filament sample (FiBo Sample Card)
- fits perfectly on the FiBo Pipe Shelf!
- the base can be filled with silicagel to keep the filament dry
- Filament Plug (now in two versions)
- FiBo - Assembly Station (stores parts to build 6 FiBos)
- Rubber Cord Spool (to store your loose rubber cord)
- Available for different spool sizes and in different lengths
Filament Plug:
Depending on the printer, the printed plugs may not fit on the ends of your filament, so the filament does not get pulled out together with the plug.
To solve this, there is also a Plug V2.
For successfully printing the Plugs V2 with my 0.4mm nozzle. Please keep in mind to enable thing wall detection!

Wall mount for 25mm (3/4") pipes to store your FiBo boxes.

- FiBo - Lid (choose your size)

Required parts for the pipe shelf:
- FiBo - Pipel Shelf Mounts (as many as you need)
- 4x 6mm screws for each mount (and matching dowels, if required)
- 2x 25mm (3/4") aluminum pipe(s)
Small inspiration: use different colors for each material type. I'm using:
PLA: white box with anthracite clips
PETG: antracite box with white clips
Additional sizes for thicker spools can be added by request. Diameter is fixed to 20cm
