This is a ceiling mounted spool holder designed for vaulted ceilings.
Print instructions:
Print one of each wallbracket, one cylinder and two pins
No supports
Assembly:
Press fit one 608 bearing into each end of the cylinder, then press fit the pins into the bearings leaving
Installation:
Mount one bracket to the wall and make sure it is levelled vertically. Measure 44mm from innermost part of the bracket and that is where the innermost part of the second bracket should be placed. Theoretically this should ensure exactly 100mm between the mounting points for the cylinder.
Considerations:
I am considering using printed bearings instead of the 608 bearings since there is almost too little friction with real bearings. Also, a chamfer or fillet could be added to the inner corner of the brackets to add strength.
