The original can't hold Mini-SIM, which is a bummer. Also, the fit is not perfect.
To get fit tight enough is a problem because SIM cards have a lousy tolerances. For example my Mini-SIM cards range in width from 14.90 to 15.10 mm, while nominal width is 15.00 mm. So press-fit is not really an option.
In the end I have added two “springs” that should keep the cards in place.
Remodeled from scratch, parametric design, made in FreeCAD (my first FreeCAD model, quite a mess to be honest)
