My 20 month old toddler has just discovered that she can open doors by hanging on the handle, so I made this block. It attaches with screws to the door frame just below the handle.
Adults (and larger kids) can still use the door by lifting the handle upwards. Small toddlers don't have the height or strength to lift a door handle and pull (hopefully).
Modify to fit your door by stretching in Z or by editing the Onshape model here
