Designed around the EVIVIV 7 inch screen, but should work for other OEM brands as well

I designed this to hold an EVIVIV 7-inch touchscreen that I got from Amazon (https://amzn.to/3krIcRk). It's a pretty nice little screen and is made for a Raspberry Pi to mount to the back with everything you need to hook it up in several different ways included.

But, the legs that come with it don't add any height, and the USB-C cable powering the RPi stuck down further than the legs. So after searching for a model someone else had made, I couldn't find anything that fit my needs, so I designed this with OnShape.

There's space to access both sides. Most of the connections are on the left, and the buttons for the screen are on the right. I added cutouts for the speakers even though I probably won't ever need them, there's a large opening in the back to access everything once assembled, and holes to mount a 30mm fan.

PRINTING:
- Front Cover (Optional, but gives the stand a finished look):

  • Print Flat on the front face
  • When looking at the back, the outer (larger) holes are to leave space around the head of the bolts that mount the screen to the rear cover
  • The inner holes are for M3 heat sets

-  Rear Cover:

  • I printed with the bottom on the build plate
  • The outer mounting holes are to insert M3 heat sets in
  • The inner tabs are for bolts that mount the front cover
  • Supports needed for the camera mount
  • Supports recommended for the upper bolt mounting holes

ASSEMBLY:

  • Start by inserting the M3 heat sets into both parts (I used 3mm thick for the front cover and 4mm thick for the rear cover)
  • Install the rear fan to the stand if you're using one. You can add it later, but it's easier with nothing else in the stand.
  • Mount the RPi to the screen
  • Place the screen onto the rear section of the stand using (4) M3 bolts. I recommend hex cap bolts.
  • Snap the front cover over the screen and rear stand.
    • Note: The caps on the bolts I used fit perfectly into the cutouts that I made, and the front holds on very well without even using bolts.
  • Attach the front cover by using 5mm long M3 bolts. (There are cut-outs in the rear case that allow access direct above the mounting locations)
  • Mount your webcam to the camera mount using this model: https://www.printables.com/model/147922-screw-for-tripod-mount
