Description
I originally made this personalized Metal guitar pick for my nephew. I saw how others could like it as well, so I delved into OpenSCAD and made a customizeable model for it so you can change the name to whatever you like
The print is small and very fast to print, takes only about 8 minutes. A perfect gift for your rocker friends.
OpenSCAD instructions:
- Download the Metal Pick - Customizer.zip (it includes the STL with no text, and the OpenSCAD file)
- Open MetalPickCustomizer.scad in OpenSCAD
- Tweak the text, size, font and text position with the exposed parameters to your liking.
- Export to STL!
Printing instruction recommendations:
- 0,10 mm layer height
- No supports, no brim
- Color change on the layer where the text appears
- Suggestion: Octagram Spiral as the bottom layer infill pattern
I use PrusaSlicer, and I really like to use the Octagram Spiral as the filling technique for the bottom layer for picks. It gives a cool effect. Give it a try!
