This sweeper attaches to the existing fan holes on the front of the print head, use custom GCODE after the printed part has cooled to sweep off the build plate.
Best Material: ABS - Shrinks sufficiently after cooling, leading to easy removal from bed plate.
Best build plate: Textured steel sheet - Generally easiest to remove.
Best temperature: Usually 60c is cool enough for ABS to be easily removed, however different filaments may work at hotter or cooler temperatures.
WARNING: If the part is still stuck to the build plate while the sweeper tries to clear it off, you may damage your printer, printed part or both.
PLEASE conduct thorough tests to ensure your combination of filament, print size, bed plate material, and temperature consistently allow easy removal of the part after the print has finished.
