Dahua manufactured security cameras are supplied with a basic “tamper torx” key for installation. I find them very cumbersome, particularly when the camera is installed in a tight spot.
This simple handle adapts the tamper torx key into a more standard screwdriver format. Simply cut off most of the short side of the key so there’s about 5mm left. I just used bolt cutters.
Then stick the key into the handle and use a hammer to bash in the insert. It's a tight fit.
Dahua make cameras for a variety of brands, including VIP Vision, Bosch, WatchNet and a stack of others.
Note that this is designed for a round 4mm shaft. Some cameras are supplied with a thicker shaft.
