I've been using nail dip powders to do my nails and since the powder colors darken after applying them I wanted to make swatches of the darkened colors. I'm a big believer in making useful things as pretty as possible, and I really loved Artmoon_'s wall decoration patterns. I also wanted a version that uses minimal filament.
The Models:
The flat nail polish swatches are 60mm x 10mm x 3mm. One is a plain rectangular outline and the other is a decorative pattern. Both are attached to a nail-shaped end and have a small hanging loop on the other end.
Update 3/13/2023: Added a 5-swatch magnetic nail display. The nail swatches each have a 6x4mm hole in the bottom to accept a magnet and there are 5 corresponding holes to accept magnets in the base. (Make sure the magnets attract before inserting the second magnet for a pair). The holes are sized for a tight friction fit and should not require adhesive.
Printing:
Printed on my Anycubic Vyper at 210C with CookieCAD coral PLA on a 60C heated bed at 80mm/s. No supports needed.
