Airpod pro are great on planes but in my hands these are just super easy to lose… fiddly and really so incredibly slippery! This case gives them a better hand grip/hold for me, they can also sit upright on a tray table with less chance of just vanishing… The clip is an option but it prevents the airpods flying out of the case if you drop them so recommended.
I used PETG for both. This gives the clip plenty of flexibility. On my machine at 0.2mm I get a really good snug fit for the case (this fits older and current)…. May vary but I've printed a few prototypes and they all fit really well.
So far so good for me… will keep testing!
