I travel for work and wanted a way to dock my Switch without the Original dock, I found this dock on Amazon (https://amzn.eu/d/iRrYZ9e) and it works great but as its a straight USB-C you need to lay the switch flat which blocks air flow for cooling or risks scratching the screen. I found these 90 degree adapters (https://amzn.eu/d/a22DAsG) but didn't like how it could strain the port on the switch so I designed this support structure for the adapter, its a bit over kill but it should prevent any damage from occuring. Plus with the use of a stand such as (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5601067) it allows good airflow and protects the screen!
This version of the model is held together with 4x M3x4 screws but it could easily be glued if you are happy for it not being easily disassemble.
