My first model! Still learning FreeCAD
This holds a Dial Indicator in my lathe's quick-change toolpost.
I chose PETG 0.20mm because it's sufficient. And I have mostly PETG, but it should work in other materials.
The model is upright because of the clamping flap. Still needs supports.
The M3 holes are threaded, so you don't need a nut. But if you ever shred the threads, there's still an opening for a nut.
