I replaced the idler gear of an MS DD with a ptfe tube to test its viability in extruders, such as the one I plan to make. If you test it, please tell me how it works, any feedback is appreciated. You will need to cut the PTFE tubing with the included cutting design, as that cuts the PTFE tube at 20 degree angles. You will need 8 m3 4.6x4 heat set inserts (link at the bottom) and some m3 screws. It should be printed in at least PETG, with 3 perimeters with at least 15% structural 3D infill patern (cubic, gyroid, etc.) You can probably just print the cutter in anything, shouldn't really matter. The PTFE tube it was modeled around was Capricorn XS as that's what I have on hand. Happy printing!
