I have my printer in the garage. When doing mods/maintenance and such, I carry it into the house. Don't like the feel of the bare frame, so created a comfortable handle that slots on.
I present Prusa Carry.
Included a mounting hole where you can screw in a small M3 screw. 8mm long works fine, longer will petrude. The hole is not threaded, but just screw in the screw and it will create the threads needed to tighten the grip, to reduce risk of it falling.
You can have it mounted during printing, but it will interfere with print hight at aprox. the last 10% total hight. The hotend carriage will hit it on higher prints. Make sure to remove it if you are printing an object higher than 190 mm.
Easy to slot on when needed, and remove when not.
Printed in PLA , 0.15 layer hight, 2 perimiters.
My print was sliced with Pruca Slicer 2.6. if you slice with an earlier version the text on the handle will not be present.
