Sometimes this game is called Pits & Stones because it was played by digging small pits in the sand and using pebbles or stones found in the area. I wanted to make a board that was more compact and more portable than the large, heavy wood model I have with the the accompanying bag of glass pebbles. I came up with this “travel” version consisting of 2 halves that lock together when open and held closed with rubber bands. I'll be making a version with magnets soon as I know people like magnets (I do too but they can get expensive)

I avoided hinges so this is super easy to print and no need for supports tho you may want rabbit ears on the corners if your printer is prone to warping.

You'll need at least 48 of the stones for game play but I recommend printing a few extra in case of loss, color does not matter, they can all be the same or different as pieces will mix during play and there is no “yours” or “mine”

Please keep the “stones” away from small children and pets. You could also use M&M's for the stones!! (chocolate is bad for doggos tho so no M&M's for Fido)

I would love to see your makes so please share, thanks and happy printing.

p.s. print with the flat side down, you may need to reorient in your slicer, sorry
