A 3x3x3 stackable gridfinity tray designed to store 125mm/5" sanding pads, with a notch to make easy grabbing it with your finger.
With 3 units tall it holds between 10 and 20 sanding pads depending on the grit (the coarser the grid, the thicker the sandpaper).
I also included a 3x3x6 (twice as tall) that should be able to hold more between 25 and 50 pads.
As usual I include the fusion 360 file so you can modify it (make it even taller).
Printing notes:
I noticed that the top fill pattern “Archimedean Chords” works particularly well for this model. It prints faster and looks the best.
I print these with very low infill (8% gyroids), 1 perimeter line (0.6 nozzle), 1 bottom layer and 3 top layers and it only requires 57g of filament (this is generally a good setting for gridfinity stuff in general)
Update: Some users have reported that 5" disks sometimes are not exactly 125mm but 126mm. The fit is very snug on 125mm disks already as a 3x3 grids are 126mm including walls. Check your sanding pads's size before printing it, and maybe print one first to check if they work for you before commiting to printing many.
