For a project using a protein complex called a gas vesicle I needed a way to pressurise protein samples to specific pressures.
This model consists of a threaded adapter for an Eppendorf tube (1.5 mL or 2 mL). It can be fitted into a threaded adapter for a 5.85 mm nitrogen pressure line. Alternatively pressure can be applied manually using an adapter for a small syringe.
The thread connects the two parts almost air tight and pressure can be applied.
