Do you have an Arlo Pro 2 wireless camera with a broken or missing rubber plug that once covered the USB charging port? If so, read on…
My sister reached out to me a few weeks back to ask me if I could make her a replacement USB charging port cap/cover for one of her Arlo Pro cameras. So, I considered the options… 1. Advise her to use a piece of electrical tape to cover up the hole and call it a day or 2. Spend way too much time designing a part in AutoCad, printing several iterations to make sure the fit is perfect, and then relying on the Postal Service to ship the part across the country. The choice was obvious…
A few hours later, and a half-a-dozen printed iterations, I had something that worked!
I hope others can find this as useful as my sister did.
You may need do a little bit of post processing on these (especially if you opt to print with a brim, I had to slightly sand the bottom and back sides a bit for a perfect fit) as the are meant to be a tight fit. It all depends on how dialed in your printer is. Try sanding a little at a time on the problem areas if some spots are tighter than you feel they should be.
NOTE: Use at your own risk. This part may not keep water out of your camera, but it’s probably better than nothing. You've been warned.

Dimensions : 11mm x 7.59mm x 10.28mm
Modeled With: Fusion360. Initial drawings in Adobe Illustrator. I'm a graphic designer, it's what I know. :P
Filament I Used: Inland PETG+; .07mm layer height. Eventually I may try to print this in TPU, as I think a part like this could benefit from some of the flexibility. Maybe it'd provide a bit more protection from the weather?

I'd love to see your prints and hear about your builds. Feedback is a gift!
