I wanted to have a Medal Hanger that could be used by all sorts of people to display a variety of medals e.g., marathon, triathlon or whatever.
I like the IPSC Medal Hanger by andrecolla on thingiverse.com, because it was split and so would fit on my mini+, but I also wanted something that could be used for any type of medal and I liked the wording: “Always Earned, Never Given ", used by blackpzs, also from Thingiverse.com.
What I finished up with was a steadier, reinforced hanger, with the words imbedded in the top.
I had also changed the straight mounting holes so I could more easily attach it to the wall. I did this making the outer diameter 8mm and 4mm hole for a screw or bolt.
I superglued the two pieces when I was ready to mount the hanger as this made it more solid.
The only support used was painted on the left side edge.
