A huge thanks to the original author for sharing the source files. It really helps the 3d printing community and allows more people to contribute to a project.
I modified the author's Fusion360 file to have user variables so that the diameters can be more easily adjusted for different scope models. It took me a few minutes as opposed to several hours if I had to make the model on my own. The AD407 would have 33mm for scope diameter instead of 40.5mm for the AD208. The actual diameter of my scope is around 40mm, but I rounded up to 40.5mm to account for print artifacts. The rectangle part from the original fits the AD208 perfectly so you can download it from the original model.
I used 20% infill (gyroid) and regular PLA. No supports. The result is very strong, so you might be able to use less infill.
From the original author:
"For mounting you need 2x M4+ring+nut. You could use M5's to secure the microscope but with my print the fit was snug enough and not needed."
