This is my personal take on a box wallet / card wallet. Based on the cascading card wallet, but I don't like print in place mechanisms on functional parts. This version holds about 8 cards, depending if they are embossed or not. This will be updated and revised as I feel it is needed, to stay current.
This design is an amalgamation of different styles, both 3D printed and commercially available models. Wallets like The Ridge are ridiculously expensive for what they are, and a 3d printed wallet can be just as functional, if not more so. I plan on adding an elastic band to the back side as a money clip, and it could easily be revised to add a rigid clip as well. The plates are perfectly fine being 3d printed, but they could also be switched for aluminum plates, which I plan on doing at some point.
I am open to feedback, and could be willing to add or change features. The model could easily be modified to fit more or fewer cards, but 8 is what works well for me.
