Uniweb Style Scanning Gun Plate

Does your employer give you the bare minimum of counter space?

Do you have Uniweb style panelling?

Do you want to be able to scan giant bulk bottles without having to move around the scan gun or contort your arms like a circus performer?

Do you not want to use the plain version because you lost precious wall space for your CoronaCups(tm uniweb idk).

Do you also want a hook to hang scissors and keys off of?

Then this is the model for you.

Works With:

Symbol, Zebra and Motorola flexible Scanning Gun holders, initially spec'ed off of this model, but they use the same plate for a ton of wired Bar Code and QR Code scanners.

Filament:

Polymaker PLA-CF  at 220 degrees and a near stock Cura profile yielded the cleanest results that you could be the most confident in since it will be under minimal stress, but in a work environment, who knows what goon is going to smack into it or lean on it the wrong way.

PETG is another good option, but if you're going to go with a plain PLA make sure you increase the wall count and or use one that isn't going to be too brittle.

Printed on:

Ender 3 S1

Anne of Green Gables (PEI) Bed.

On the PLA-CF version the settings got cranked up to 230 degrees at 175% (~140mm/s) print speed and it still maintained functionality and form, stringing and blobbing increased but all pasta was avoided, and most of the exceptionally egregious artifacts could be brushed/picked off.

Requires:

The measurements in the photographs for the nut and bolts are recommended and easy to find at a hardware shop, but you can probably find a nut/bolt/washer set at home in the spare parts bin that will fit, it's pretty forgiving as long as it doesn't fall through the holes.
