I have a lot of miniature paints that keep piling on my hobby desk. A friend of mine showed me a laser cut storage system for organizing such paints, but I do not have access to a laser cutter so I made my own inspired by that.
This organizer stores:
- 19 citadel paint pots (32mm diameter)
- 34 vallejo paint bottles (26mm diameter) - 35 if you cram them in
- … or a combination of other pots
Outer dimension is 215mm by 110mm by 44mm (length, width, height).
The model has been designed to be printed very fast using a 0.6mm nozzle, without supports. On my upgraded Ender 3 Pro, it prints one tray in 1h 31 mins using PLA and 15% infill.
The model has been made in Solidworks for Makers.
