Originally I wanted a Quad design that would fit nicely on my newly assembled Prusa-Mini. (Love it) However most of what I saw was really uninspiring, not particularly durable, and far too heavy. Thus I set out with the following design goals:
- Fit within 18×18×18 cm build volume.
- Have something that my son could assemble with minimal help.
- Minimal Supports. (Camera supports already included on model, just snip them off when finished)
- Easy to print with only one printable part.
- Uses micro-quadcopter parts that are commonly available.
- Printable using PLA or PETG. (0.2mm layering)
- Easily sliceable to support your favorite color scheme.
The current model I have has been going strong for over three years now!
