This is self scratching station for cats to rub up on. The base plate mounts to any surface a Command Adhesive strip can stick to. First you fill the scratcher from the back, then slide on the mounting plate, and stick to a surface. I used catnip inside and silvervine sprinkled on top.

Update 3/2/2023: Added a new version specifically for mounting on a flat surface such as a floor (see second video for reason). I'll post some pics when it finishes printing; I am also going to order some stick on Velcro strips so that I can more easily take it up and put fresh catnip in it. For the flat surface version, print two of the mounting plates and slide one on from each end.

Update 3/5/3023: This should be the final update, I have now posted the final STL for all three versions, they have all been printed and tested. The only other update I may do is if I decide to make a corner version or another size. In the pictures the green one is the original vertical mount version, the brick red one is the horizontal version, and the blue one is the flat surfaces version (though really the flat surfaces version could be used anywhere the velcro or command strips will adhere.

Here is a video of one of my cats trying it out.

…and, this kitty (Earl Grey, one of my oldest) is too clever by half; he realized he can take it apart and get directly at the catnip when I place it on the floor, so I have now added a special version meant to be mounted on flat surfaces.

After Earl Grey showed off being too clever I created a version meant for flat surfaces. In the video I have mounted to heavy spare tile so I can move it around as needed.
