I had a mini scalpel blade/handle included with a kit of things but it snapped. Since I had made a custom space for it in some foam I found it hard to actually purchase another without buying multi-packs that came as disposable units. As I just want to keep using this blade to trim prints, I modified an existing handle model to take on the shape of the broken thumb handle.
It's pictured using a Swann Morton 11p blade but will fit others too.
The tolerances are pretty tight so you'll need to print in your highest detail (I did 0.16 layer height in cura) and a reasonably high infill like 25% or more with a strong in all directions pattern like gyroid.
No support needed
SAFETY
IT IS A VERY TIGHT FIT first time on so I would use pliers to push the blade on otherwise you may release some of your magic red goop from your hand.
Also remember it's a 3D printed handle. The real, production one snapped without too much effort so I can't imagine a printed one will fare much better, so only use for light trimming. And of course, it's not sterile so don't use it for people!
