Multipart monster truck light switch cover with rotating wheels. Fits a standard (US - maybe other countries? I'm not very well traveled) 1 gang toggle light switch.

I printed it with my sons name on the wheels, and have included the step file for anyone inclined to do the same, the posted stl has no text. Assembly is straightforward, ‘tires’ slide over the round extrusion on the 'background' piece. 'Hubs' press into the extrusion to hold 'tires' on. Remove the original light switch cover, reuse the screws to go through the ‘body’, through the ‘background’ into the light switch.

Depending on your printer and settings, some light sanding or shaving may be necessary for fit. I ran a piece of sand paper around the hole in the tires and around the extrusion on the background just to make sure they were smooth for a good spin, but otherwise everything should fit together right off the printer if everything is tuned appropriately (or maybe tuned as poorly as mine?)

Warning: I am not an electrician. I am not claiming that it is safe to replace the standard switch plate with a 3d printed part. I'm not claiming it's dangerous either. I haven't the faintest idea. Use at your own risk.

Overall width : ~205mm

Overall height: ~143mm

Print with whatever your normal settings are. No supports or brims necessary.

Probably wouldn't hurt to remove your switch cover first to make sure the hole behind it will be covered completely by the background (the standard light switch cover extends higher than this model, so if the hole in your wall is significantly larger than the one in my 130yr old farm house then some of it may be exposed. If that's the case, you can use the step file to scale as needed or some fancy use of adding shapes in your slicer could work).
