Printing:
This has been printed on mk3s with:
- 0.4mm nozzle
- petg
- 0.2mm layer height
- organic supports on build plate only. The organic supports have been the easiest to minimize cleanup.
Assembly:
- Cut off any plastic left by the supports
- Insert the lock into the body at a right angle. An image above shows the orientation.
- Rotate lock inline with the body slide the back of the lock into the dovetail grove. It should be a friction fit. One of the images above shows how they interlock.
- If the spring mechanism doesn't move there may still be material binding up the lock, but for the most part this has printed without the need for much post processing.
