I needed an organized way to store my small capacitors. This is a tray style box with a closable lid. The lid has descriptions of the contents on the underside that can be seen once opened. It also has a front face that is labelled.
There are three pieces to each box: 1) The basic box, 2) The lid and 3) The front plate. The lid and the front plate have a layer change so you put in a different color filament for the text. All is printed at 15% infill and no supports are needed. I use PETG for everything. You will also need two 3mm wood screws for each box to secure the hinges.
I use OpenSCAD for design. It is free and runs on all platforms. I have included the source code for these models here. The STL files are customized for me as an example. You can easily edit the code to create your own labelled bins.
